What the App Actually Is
The Reef Hotel Casino has an official iOS application listed in the Apple App Store. Its App Store ID is 1233189355 and the title there is simply “The Reef Hotel Casino”. It sits in the Entertainment category and is a verified listing. Important to say this straight away: it is not an online casino. There is no real-money betting in the app, no digital slots or table games, no online wagering functionality at all.
Instead, the app is built around the bricks-and-mortar complex at 35-41 Wharf Street, Cairns City, Queensland 4870. It works as a companion for people who are actually visiting or planning to visit the property. Most of what it focuses on is the kind of day-to-day information guests usually need on hand.
Inside the app you will find details on the various restaurants and bars across the complex, with dining information pulled together in one place. There is an events and entertainment section with upcoming shows and activations at the venue. It also highlights responsible gambling information, including direct access to the Gambling Help Line on 1800 858 858, plus other support material. If you are organising a trip to Cairns and want to see what is on at the complex or where to eat, the app is handy. If you are chasing online betting from home, this is not built for that.
There is no Android version from the brand. No official APK file has been released, and the app is not available through Google Play or any verified Android store. At the moment, the only legitimate way to install a Reef Hotel Casino mobile app is through the Apple App Store on iOS.
Downloading on iOS
Getting the app onto an iPhone or iPad follows the usual App Store flow, without anything out of the ordinary.
On your iOS device, open the App Store from the home screen. At the bottom of the screen, tap on the Search tab. In the search field, type “The Reef Hotel Casino” and start the search. In the results list, look for the official app entry, then open it to check the details.
Before you download, confirm a couple of things: the app name should match exactly, and the App Store ID listed in the URL or information is 1233189355. You can also check the developer name is correct and consistent with the venue. Once you are happy it is the right one, tap the “Get” button. Depending on how your phone or tablet is set up, Face ID, Touch ID or your Apple ID password might be needed to approve the download.
After the download finishes, either tap “Open” directly from the App Store screen, or exit back to your home screen and find the new icon there. On first launch, iOS will usually ask whether you want to allow push notifications from the app. If you want to receive alerts about dining offers, event updates or other venue messages, allow notifications. You can always turn them off later in your iOS settings.
From the main menu inside the app, scroll to the responsible gambling section at least once. That area links to the Gambling Help Line on 1800 858 858 and provides various support contacts and information. It is the same message that runs consistently across the venue and website, just accessible on your phone.
If you cannot see the app in search results at all, it usually comes down to App Store region settings. The listing is active on the Australian storefront, so if your Apple ID is tied to a different country, it may not appear until the region is updated.
One small but important point when you look for any venue app: if something feels slightly wrong - the logo looks different, the developer name is unfamiliar, the screenshots are off - pause and double-check. Those inconsistencies often mean you are not dealing with the official app, and it is better not to continue with the install.

The physical casino itself is a substantial operation in Cairns, with around 32,291 square feet of gaming space in the complex, roughly 530 electronic gaming machines and about 51 table and poker games. None of those games are playable in the app. It does not recreate the casino floor in digital form, and there are no interactive gaming modules. Think of it strictly as a planning, browsing and reference tool that supports a visit, not as any sort of online gambling product.
On the hotel side, the Pullman Reef Hotel Casino is positioned within Accor’s ALL loyalty network and contains 128 guest rooms. Room bookings and accommodation packages are processed through Accor’s central reservation system at all.accor.com/hotel/2901. The mobile app might redirect you towards those booking pathways, but it does not act as a standalone reservation engine in itself.
The APK Question
There is no sanctioned APK file for The Reef Hotel Casino app. The venue is a land-based casino-hotel complex and, up to the latest available information, has not released an Android application through Google Play or through any independent, verified APK distribution.
Typing phrases like “The Reef Hotel Casino APK” into a search engine will commonly return results that are not related to the Cairns venue at all. One example that tends to appear is Reef Reels Casino, accessible via reefreelscasino.net. That particular operation is an entirely separate real-money online casino, with its own APK package and its own iOS offering. It is not part of Reef Casino Trust, is not run by Casinos Austria International (Cairns) Pty Ltd, and does not have a relationship with the property on Wharf Street. It simply shares part of the branding in its name.
Installing APK files from unverified websites is risky in the usual ways: malware, unauthorised data access, and programs that do things you did not consent to. Those risks are not unique to any one brand; they are just part of side-loading Android apps from places that are not properly vetted. For Android users who only need basic information about the Cairns casino, the straightforward approach is to visit the official website at reefcasino.com.au and use that as the reference point instead of trying to track down an app that does not exist.
